OVERSUBSCRIBED
GAS COMPANY’S DEBENTURES The recent issue of debentures, Counting to £200,000. made by the Auckland Gas Company, was oversubscribed by £129,500. Of the amount required, £152,350 was allotted to “B” debenture holders* according to the conditions of their intex'ests. and shareholders were allotted £17,650. The general public applied for £81,500, but the directors were unai)le to allot them any.
