A picture theatre at Barlinghurst, Sydney, is being named after the Duchess of York. Merian Cooper and Ernest C. Seboedsack, who spent two years in the Siamese jungle producing “Chang,” have again left for the wilds. "Flying Romeos” is the title selected by First National for the picture now nearing completion, in which Charlie Murray and George Sidney are featured. "Grock.” famous French clown, and headliner in many a vaudeville bill,
has made a motion picture. It is called “What For.”
Dolores del Rio’s first picture as a full-fledged United Artists’ star will be based on Konrad Bercoici’s story, “The Bear Tamer's Daughter.”
The New Zealand Educational Films, Ltd., a company recently formed in Wellington, has secured a lease of the Y.W.C.A. Hall, where pictures of educational value will be screened. It is understood that this company will cater for school children throughout New Zealand.
Lya de Putti, Continental screen star, has engaged a well-known American writer to prepare a sketch for her in vaudeville. She will play it in New York.
