dance: to miss n. self To show Miss Noel Self that she carried the best wishes of her workmates with her on her trip abroad, the staff of the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., gave her a pleasant dance in the Operatic Society’s Hall last evening 1 . Self leaves by the Niagara on a 12 months’ tour of England and Europe. Mr. Cyril Johnston expressed the regreat of the staff at her departure and wished her a joyful tour. Musical numbers were provided by Misses Weston, Coleman and Reynolds and Messrs. E. Snell, Gallagher and Clark, and good dance music completed a happy evening. Among those present were: Miss I. Weston, iris mauve taffetas frock. Miss Pilkington, electric blue satin. i Miss E. Weston, rose velvet and silk, j Miss Rees, black frilled net frock. Miss M. Wright, rose sequined frock. Miss Cunningham, delphinium blue taffetas. Miss T. Jennings, orchid velvet frock. Miss Barnes, mauve georgette. Miss Johnston, black georgette frock. ! Miss E. Grant, ecru georgette. Miss Pickmere, powder blue satin. Miss McHattie, black georgette and j silver. Miss Palmer, emerald crepe de chine. j Miss Ray McHattie (Wellington), blue beaded georgette. Miss Reynolds, green satin, with gold ! lace and silver. Miss Stubbs, leaf green georgette. I Mis Bales, powder blue crepe de chine. Miss J. Foote, blue taffetas frock. Miss N.
