The milk department, another of the city’s trading concerns, shows a profit for the year of £9,175, after allowing for highei* payments to producers, increased wages, and reductions to customers. All the preliminary expenses are now written off, and some £15,000 Placed to reserves, in addition to finding money for extensions of plant.
