GALE IN TOW AGAIN

WANGANUI TUG TAKES CHARGE (Special to THE SUN l WANGANUI, To-day. The Gale remained at anchor a few miles down the coast last night, and the Wanganui Harbour Board’s tug Kakanui went out to stand by in case of emergency. This morning she took the Gale in tow and is now proceeding to Wellington. The costly business of sending for the Wellington tug when such a modern, powerful tug as the Kahanui was available at Wanganui, has caused much comment.
