NORTHCOTE BOROUGH

RECREATION RESERVE Letters received from the Northcote and Birkenhead League Football Club and the Northcote Association Football Club, at a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council, presided over last evening by the Mayor, Mr. A. E. Greenslade, agreed to conform to all specifications stipulated by the reserves committee in respect of the playing fields allotted. Both clubs congratulated the council on its enterprise in obtaining a suitable playing area in the centre of the borough. It was officially decided to name the reserve in question “the Northcote Recreation Ground,”
