“THE TERROR”
AT HIS MAJESTY’S The J. C. Williamson, Ltd., Dramatic Company, headed by the great Maurice Moscovitch, will give at His Majesty’s this evening and to-morrow evering, the last two performances of El/gar Wallace’s masterpiece, “The Terror.” Edgar Wallace has surpassed all his previous efforts in his construction of “The Terror,” not only in the cleverness of the story, but also in the creation of the characters, all of which give those who portray them opportunities to distinguish themselves. The story deals with exciting happenings concerning the stealing of two tons of gold, a strange monk, who makes mystic appearances at the dead of night, and the vengeance sought by the plausible convict Soapy Marks. Add to this the exciting hunt for “The Terror,” a man who for 20 hours of the day is normal and for the other four hours is an irresponsible criminal. The identity of “The Terror” is cleverly hidden until just before the final curtain.
