“THE GAY RETREAT” ‘The Guy Retreat,” featuring Tec McNamara, Sammy Cohen and Gene Cameron, is the picture which will be shown to-night at the Capitol Theatre. It is a hilarious picturisation of some of the many funny situations the boys found themselves in when they took leave without asking permission during the lute war. Unlike the majority of war comedies, there is a definite plot having to do ''vith the sleep-walking activities of the son of a certain millionaire and the faithful watch kept over him by his two trusty bodyguards. sent to France by his father with instructions to never leave their youV master out of their sight. Gene Cameron, an extremely popular young comedian, plays the leading role. Sammy Cohen and Ted McNamara, the famous team from “What Price Glory,” are his attendants, and Holmes Herbert, well-krjpwn character actor, his father. To look at Reginald Denny one would never think that he has been married 14 years. Yet lie lias, and lias a 12-year-old daughter. He married his wife in India when lie was stranded there, and she has suffered many hardships with him. now enjoying the wealth that lias fallen to them. Denny will be seen shortly in “That’s My Daddy,” which is his latest Universal starring vehicle. Barbara Kent plays opposite, while the supporting east includes Lillian Rich, Tom O’Brien, Jane La Verne, Mathilde Brundage, Wilson Benge and Armand Kaliz.
