MANY YACHTS RALLY FOR FINAL RACE DAY
BOATING SEASON CLOSES CLUBS COMBINE FORCES Most yacht clubs on the Waitemata will take part to-morrow in combined cruising and harbour races as a final rally to close the yachting season. Keel yachts, mullet boats and launches will go to Islington Bay. All smaller boats will compete over harbour courses. The whole arrangements are under the control of the Auckland Yacht and Motor-Boat Association. All events will start off the King’s Wharf. The first event will start at 2.20 p.m., and others will follow at intervals of eight minutes.
