Te Kuiti Club May Race at Ellerslie

WINTER DATES SUGGESTED The committee of the Auckland Racing Club met'yesterday, the president. Sir Edwin Mitchelson, presiding. A deputation from the Te Kuiti Facing Club waited on the committee to ask permission to hold its meeting this year at Ellerslie. In view of the exceptional circumstances which have prevented the Te Kuiti Club from racing on its own course, permission was granted to hold a meeting at Ellerslie about June 16 and IS, subject to the approval of the Auckland restrict Committee. The following transfers were approved:—J. Donald to W. A. Fuller, Dancing Star; M. W. Powell to H. X. James, Exalted; W. G. Stead to F. Flipp. Pari; W. G. Stead to R. Johnson, Ridgemount. Accounts totalling £2,794 were passed for payment.
