Reynolds, of Manly, who v -s rescued, made conflicting staton.cnis indicating that a man and a wonfe.lll. who were passengers, sank wuh the car in 17 feet of water, but the police have been uuablc to trace the bodies although the headlights of the car r« - mained alight for a long time aft- r sinking, lighting up the water and th harbour bed. The search is continuing. Mr. Reynolds is in a serious condition.
