Clouds of locusts have appeared over Jericho, flying toward Jerusalem, But they were checked by the wind. Travellers from Transjordania report passing through five miles of locusts between Maan and Amman. The Palestine Department of Agriculture is endeavouring to exterminate them with flame-guns.
