GIRL GUIDE MOVEMENT
INSTITUTED AT PUKEKOHE On Saturday afternoon the Girl Guide movement was instituted at Pukekohe, a number of candidates being initiated by Mrs. Usher, District Commissioner for Waitemata. Among those present were:—Mrs. C. Morrin, the local captain; Mr. Brotherton, formerly district Scoutmaster for Dunedin, and the local Boy Scouts. On Sunday afternoon the colours were dedicated at St. Andrew’s Church by the Rev. J. P. Cowie.
