EVERYBODY’S
“THE KING OF KINGS” I “The King of Kings,” now being shown at Everybody’s Theatre, has been described as the most remarkable photo-play ever produced. “The King of Kings” is a great picture. It has accomplished the ‘‘impossible,” without offending the sensibilities. There is reverence without maudlin sentimentalism. It is a gripping picture from beginning to end. Its chronology, geography, history, are a little out of focus, but not sufficiently to detract from its merits. A picture with a message for everyone, young or old, man or woman, and at its close,, one cries out with the centurion, “Truly this was the Son of God.” As one eminent critic has said. “ ‘The King of Kings’ is one of the greatest films I have ever seen. That it will make a profound impression throughout the land. I do not doubt.” “It induces reverence, proper selfthought, loyalty to the Christ, and the enlarging sense of Christian brotherhood.” Taken as a whole, the film deserves superlative praise and its presentation at Everybody's- Theatre leaves nothing lacking. ——-————
