MADGE BELLAMY
STAR IN “VERY CONFIDENTIAL”
Madge Bellamy is one of the youngest and most promising of the screen artists whom Fox Films has brought to the limelight within recent years. Miss Bellamy is the star of “Very Confidential,” being released here by Fox, and it is generally conceded that in this film she displays her ability as comedienne more successfully than she has ever done previouly. Those who remember the little lady two or three years ago will remember that she was of the demure and retiring type, and not the up-to-date and “peppy” young flapper -who is the Madge Bellamy of to-day. This metamorphosis occVred in “Sandy,” in which she had her first flapper role, and she appeared with bobbed hair, short skirts and an assured personality which undoubtedly created a sensation in the film -world, and incidentally won her a lot of recognition.
