Mr. Jas. Robertson , managing director of Robertson Bros., can be truly termed one of Auckland's leading commercial men.
Born and educated in the Auckland district , Mr. Robertson joined up with the firm early in his career. Under his control it has built upm*a name for sound business dealings throughout the whole of New Zealand and has substantial overseas connections. Mr. Robertson is the New Zealand director of the London Lancashire Insurance Company. A man of wide interests he served for a period on the Auckland City Council , being chairman of the legal and finance committee for three years. A side line with Mr. Robertsoyi is the chairmanship of the St. Cuthbert’s Girls College.
