McCLURE AGAIN

RE-ARRESTED YESTERDAY SEQUEL TO SPEECH FROM DOCK John William McClure, who was convicted and discharged yesterday by Mr, Justice Blair on a charge of breaking and entering, was arrested again on the same day. The charge for which McClure was sentenced yesterday was committed in July, 1919, at Auckland. Accused, in a statement to the Judge, offered to give the police all assistance required, and he was arrested again after he had been released by the Court. At the Police Court to-day he was charged with breaking and entering the residence of David Eriedlauder at Ashburton in May, 1919, and stealing £45 in 'money. He was further charged with breaking and entering the Ashburton High School. Accused was remanded for a week.
