CAPITOL
“ROAD. TO ROMANCE”
Ramon Novarro is the hero of the ffiost romantic of all romances—“ The **oatl to Romance,” which- will be 'ru ll t^ie Capitol Theatre to-night. The story is one to thrill the hearts or young and old alike —a tale of buc-
caneers and their island lair in the Carribean Sea, of a scheming governor, a beautiful girl, a handsome soldier of fortune, who rescues the girl after many bewildering perils, and of sweet, inspiring love at the finish —which comes all too soon.
In the role of Captain Jose Armando, R3.nion Novarro is dashingly brilliant. R© is also the tender devoted lover to r" e life. Opposite him, Marceline Day 1? both talented and winsome. Roy b Arcy invests the part of Don Balfhaser, the cunning governor, with inhnitable realism, providing a splendid R>il for Novarro’s forceful acting. A storv of life in the teeming city of -New York—“ East Side, West Side,” starring George O’Brien and Virginia ' alii, is on the same programme.
“Ladies of the Mob,” by Ernest Wil“ant Booth, will be Clara Bow’s nett p araniount picture. Oliver PI. P- Garr®tt i s making the screen adaptation. •William Wellman will direct.
