BAGBY IN DOCK
JOCKEY FACES GRAVE CHARGE NO SUPPRESSION OF NAME Pi-ess Association. MASTERTOX, To-day. Walter Scott Bagby, the well-known jockey, aged 20, appeared in court on a charge of rape. His counsel urged the suppression of his name, on the ground that his licence would be cancelled if his name were known, but after considerable argument Mr. S. L. P. Free, S.M., refused. Bagby was remanded on bail of £SOO and two sureties of £250 each.
