TRIAL ENDS AT MOSCOW

The trial has been concluded of 42 persons who were charged with carrying on an economic counter-revolution by systematically and illegally receiving credits for profiteering operations, also by flooding the financial market with valueless bills and cheques. One man was acquitted, seven were sentenced to death, including a State Bank official, and the remainder were sentenced to imprisonment for terms varying from six months to 10 years.
