RIFLE SHOOTING
AKARANA CLUB’S EVENTS
MEETING AT PENROSE Trophies presented by Messrs. T. Elliott, sen., D. Calder and G. R. Draffin were competed for at Penrose on Saturday by members of the Akarana Rifle Club over ranges of 500 and 600 yards. The top men in their respective sections take trophy points. Silver spoons were won by Rifleman A. W. Powell and F. Elliott. Details are as follow: A Section (Mr. T. Elliott's trophy).—A. W. Powell, 45 at 500yds.. 45 at 600 yds , total 90; S.
