HOUSEBREAKER PLACED UNDER CONTROL “This appears to be a foolish attempt, and the unfortunate young man is not normal,” said Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court this morning, when passing sentence of two years’ reformative detention on Robert Alexander Andrews, who had pleaded guilty to a. charge of breaking, entering, and theft at Dargaville. His Honour said he did not impose the sentence by way of punishment, but more for the sake of keeping the prisoner under control, and helping him.
