GLENDOWIE GOLF CLUB
The season was opened on Saturday with the usual mixed foursomes. There was a. large attendance of members, and some excellent cards were handed in. The links are in good order, there having been sufficient local rain to bring the fairways on. The best card was put in by Aliss Katterfeldt and X. Forgie, who returned a net 75. The best cards were: Aliss Katterfeldt and X. Forgie. 103, 28 —75: Airs. M. Miller and AI. A tiller, 10S, 27—81: Airs. Stanley and X. Hockin. 102, 16 —86: Aliss Sharland and O. Wolf gram, 105, 18—S7: Aliss J. English and T. Russell. 107, 20 —87: Aliss Hill and K. Brookfield. 113, 25 —88: Airs. J. Wilson and F. Frere, 96, S —88: Aliss English and Dr. Horton. 108. 19—89: Airs. Brown and A. Duthie. 106. 16 —90; Miss Scott and R. Edmonds, 109, 17 — 92; Airs. Warren and Warren, 12 5, 30 —95. Xext Saturday, April 21, a bogey handicap will be played; partners to be drawn. Entries close with the secretary not later than 5 p.m. Wednesday.
