New Evening Bags

Japanese Designs The keynote of this season’s evenbags will be novelty. “Dismal Desmonds” enjoyed popularity during the daytime last year, now dolls will be favoured for the dance at night. The most beautiful are the Japanese doll bags, which are made of richlyembossed silk. The bag is made in two pieces. The upper part consist of the jacket, arms and head, and the other of the trousers and legs. The foundation of this quaint bag is raffia. The two portions fit over one another, so there is little chance of losing anything which is placed inside. What really prompted the introduction of this latest- handbag is the popularity of the mandarin jacket. The Japanese bag and the Oriental coat certainly go well together.
