TASK FOR CONTROL BOARD ENGLISH CRICKET SUGGESTION (Inited P. .4.— By Telegraph — Copyright.) (Australian P.A.—United Service) LONDON, Friday. With considerable courage the committee of the Lancashire County Cricket Club suggests that the Maryleiioue Cricket Club should surrender the selection of touring teams and the management of tours to an English Board of Control. Lancashire will move at the meeting of the Marylebone Advisory Committee on April 27: “That while fully appreciating and deeply grateful foxthe Marylebone Cricket Club’s pioneer work in arranging and organising lours in the past, the time has arrived when a board of control should take ° ver » e task, and that the profit or the loss on any tour be shared between the Marylebone Club and the bounties in proportions mutually agreed upon.”
