CASSIOPEE SAILING
AUCKLAND VISIT OVER The Auckland visit of the French sloop-of-war Cassiopee is over, and the vessel is to leave Auckland at four o’clock this afternoon for Noumea, New Caledonia. The Cassiopee came out of dock at Devonport last Thursday and berthed at Prince’s Wharf, where stores -and coal were taken on board yesterday. Members of the Auckland French Club have entertained the visitors during the week, taking some 40 men to .the Regent Theatre on Wednesday afternoon. The captain and three officers were taken for a final motor drive round the district yesterday afternoon. The visitors were greatly pleased with the trips arranged for them to Rotorua and Waitomo.
