PLAYS WHIRLWIND KNOCKS IN HOLIDAY MATCHES After having* had a good long rest from serious cricket, C. F. W. Allcott broke loose at Faster and spent a joyous time on tour with an Auckland side which visited Paeroa and Thames. Against Paeroa, he hit up a breezy SI, and against Thames B he compiled a fiery 144 not out. The left-hander lifted the ball out of the ground on six occasions, in addition to hitting 22 fours.
