Singer has returned to Auckland after spending Easter with Mrs. Nelson Banks, of Matamata. Mrs. C. Murray, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. W. C. McDowell, Remuera, Auckland. Dr. Jessie Al-exander, Auckland,' is the guest of Mrs. C. Burnett, GOll- - Wanganui. Mrs. G. Nicol, of Remuera. left by the Maunganui to-day for a holiday in Victoria, Australia. Mr. and Mrs. R. vV. Beresford, of Taumarunui, are among those at the Commercial Hotel. j Mrs. Wyatt, of Dunedin, is spending - a holiday in Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. P. Davis, of Herrie Bay. Guests at the Hotel Cargen include Mr. and Mrs. F. Fussell, of Napier, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Skerman, of Te Awamutu. Mr. and Mrs. R. Richards, of London, and Mrs. J. Bothamlcy and Miss M. Dyer, of Wellington, are staying at the JStar Hotel. Mrs. R. W. Smith, of Taihape, wife of the member for Waimarino, is visiting Auckland, and is staying at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. A. 11. Fisher, of Dunedin, Mr., Mrs. and Miss Mcßryde, of Wellington, and Mrs. and Miss McFarland, of Sydney, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hardcastle, of Cambridge, Mr. and Mrs. A. Brady, of Apia, Sampa, and Mr. and Mrs. E. Park, of Gisborne, are staying at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Amos and Mas. Allan Daws'on, of Wellington, who have been staying in Auckland, left yesterday to visit Hamilton. New Plymouth and Wanganui on their way home. * * * Miss Cooper, of Bournemouth, Enfland, and Miss Jean Proctor, of Paris, who have been spending some time in touring Australia and New Zealand, left by the Aorangi on Wednesday for Honolulu and America. They were the guests while in Auckland of Mrs. S. L. Hirst, of Hamilton Road, Herne Bay. At the Albert Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Wilson, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. L. Evans, of Wanganui, Mr. and Mrs. H. Hill, and Mr. ancl Mrs. U. Faulkiner, of Napier, and Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Taylor, of Matamata.
