YOUTH USES HAMMER DISPUTE IN BOX FACTORY The thrill of hitting a companion on the head with a hammercost James Lynch, aged 21. £l2 2s 6d at the Police Court to-day. He pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting William James Leslie Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that accused and complainant v. ere fel-low-workers in a box factory. A dispute arose between them, and accused struck Leslie with a hammer. Mr J J. Sullivan, who appeared for accused, said that Leslie had threatened to throw him out of a window*, and accused, acting on impulse, used the hammer. Lynch was convicted and ordered to pay costs £l2 2s 6d.
