Williams, returned to Wellington from Auckland on Tuesday. Ur V. H. Potter, M.P., Mr. W. J. Jordan, M P-. and Mr. If. O. R. Mason, MPr returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, is expected in Wellington to-day to attend a conference on rural economics.

\lr. H. Amos, of Wellington, chairman of the New Zealand Olympic Association, will leave for Hamilton this evening on his way to New Plymouth.
Dr. J- S. Kennard, a distinguished American traveller, writer and explorer, and Mrs. Kennard, left by the Aorangi for Vancouver after a tour of the Dominion.
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, has promised to open the annual conference of the New Zealand Commercial Travellers’ Association in Welington next Tuesday.
Mr. A. Pryce, R.N., a commissioned gunner, who served on board H.M.S. New Zealand, arrived on the lonic from Southampton yesterday morning to join the cruiser Diomede.
Colonel A. R. C. SaviUe and Mrs. Saville, who have been living in Auckland for the past two years, left for England by the Aorangi yesterday. They will settle in Southport.
The Minister of Lands, the Hon. A. D. McLeod, returned to Wellington from the Wairarapa on Tuesday, and left in the evening for the Nelson district. He will return to Wellington on Sunday morning.
Mr. E. V. Bevan, assistant manager for New Zealand of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, left Wellington by the Corinthic on a holiday to England. He will be away from --New Zealand for about six months.
Professor H. Belshaw, of Auckland University College, left by train for Wellington last evening. He will attend a conference convened by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, where proposals for conducting research into agricultural economics will be discussed. He will return in the week-end.
The Rev. G. Frost, of the Gisborne Methodist Church, left for England by the Aorangi yesterday to attend a Wesleyan Church Conference in Liverpool in July.
