COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waipiata, en route from Dunedin and Timaru, leaves Lyttelton at four o’clock this afternoon for Wellington and Auckland and should arrive here on Sunday. The Waimea is due at Auckland on Sunday and sails next Tuesday afternoon on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Kanna is loading at Dunedin today and thence fills up at Oamaru and Picton for Auckland, where she is due about Thursday next. The Wingatui has been delayed and now sails at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Poolta, en route from Westport and Napier, sailed from Gisborne at 8 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow. After discharge here the vessel undergoes ’her annual overhaul and survey at this port. The Kaimanawa was to leave Westport last evening for New Plymouth and Auckland and should arrive here about Monday next. The Kurow should load at Bluff about Monday, thence Dunedin and way ports for Auckland. The Waihemo sailed from Auckland yesterday for Wellington, thence New Plymouth, Melbourne and Sydney to unload the balance of her Pacific Coast cargo. The Kaitangata left Auckland early this morning for Portland, thence Napier and Wellington to complete the discharge of her South Australian cargo. The King Egbert is to leave here on Saturday for Western Australia to load wheat for South Africa.
The Tongariro, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Port Albany arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington and sails on Saturday for Dunedin to complete the discharge of her New York cargo. The Kia Ora should leave Wellington about Saturday for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete the discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The Gunbar is due at Auckland about Wednesday next, and sails the following day on her return trip to East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Awahou left ‘Auckland last evening for East Coast bays and Gisborne. The Tiroa sailed from Auckland last evening for Gisborne. She is due back again on Monday next to load for her return trip. f he Mahurangi left Auckland yesterday morning for Whangarei. This ls her first trip since Easter. The Coronation loads at Auckland tomorrow for Awanui, for which port she is to be dispatched at noon on Saturday. The Pono sails from Auckland at three o’clock this afternoon for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Waipu sails at half-past four this afternoon for Kerepeehi. The vessel is due back again at seven o’clock on Saturday morning next. The Taniwha was to be dispatched from Auckland at half-past three this afternoon for Paeroa. She is due back at nine o’clock to-morrow evening.
The Claymore, sailing at seven o’clock this evening for Whangarei, returns again at nine o'clock on Saturday morning. The Kawau left Auckland this morning for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, and Little and Big Omaha. She is due back at half-past seven to-morrow evening.
The Omana left Auckland early this afternoon for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana. She arrives back at six o’clock to-morrow morning and sails again at half-past six to-morrow evening for Surf dale, Ostend and Omiha. The Hauiti returns to Auckland this afternoon from Kopu and Turua, and sails again at four o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Coromandel.
The Apanui, due at eleven o’clock this evening from the Great Barrier, sails again at noon to-morrow for Totara North, Houhora, Kaimaumau and PaThe Clansman is expected to arrive at Auckland at half-past seven to-morrow morning from Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui. At five o’clock on Monday evening she sails again for the same ports.
The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga at seven o’clock to-morrow morning, sails again at 7 p.m. the same day on the return trip.
The Rangitoto is to be dispatched from Auckland at half-past eight to-morrow morning for Thames. From that trip she will return at four o’clock on Saturday afternoon.
