HARBOUR BOARD’S CLAIM FILLING IN SEA WALL A claim by the Auckland Harbour Board for the sum of £3,188 has been received by the Devonport Borough Council for the cost of pumping filling inside the wall on Queen’s Parade. The suction dredge was employed for 44 days at £62 10s a day. The transport of material and sundry other charges account for the total.
The Borough Council considers that Lhe account is not in accordance with the spirit of the agreement and asks for its reconsideration.
