BEEF MARKET FIRM Dalgety and Company Ltd., having held their usual weekly * to^K sale at Frank ton saleyards on \\ eanesday as under: — There was a moderate yarding of beef, *hich sold at late rates. Best young Prime cows made up to £9 ss; ordinary, quality average weight cows, £6 10s to L 7 7s 6d; small and inferior cows, £«* to £6 2s 6d. There were only a few stores yarded, which sold at late rates. A good yarding of fat sheep sold at Prices on a par with late rates. Extra Prime wethers sold at up to 33s 3d; choice heavy ewes, 255; moderate quality ewes, Us 6d to 21s 6d; fat woolly lambs, 255; fat shorn lambs. 21s 9d; forward woolly, lambs, 17s 2d. A small yarding of pigs a *so sold at late rates. Heavy baconers, *■f to £4 9s; porkers, 2Ss, £2 10s to -2: small stores, 9s to 12s; wcaners, is t 0 6s; small stores, 15s 6d. . Best prime fat cows up to £9 15s: medium weights, £7 i*s to £S 15s; plainer, £6 to £7 20s; Vanished, £5 7s 6d to £5 15s.
