COMMISSIONER TO INQUIRE By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright, Reed. 12.5 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The Colonial Secretary, Mr. L. S. Amery, has selected Lieut.-Colonel Sir H. C. Moorhouse as a commissioner to proceed to the British Solomon Islands Protectorate, to inquire into and report upon the circumstances in which murderous attacks took place on Government officials at Verakose, Guadalcanar, in February, 1927, and at Sinaranga, Malaita, in October of the same year.—A. and N.Z.
