FIRE DAMAGES HOUSE
BLAZE AT PONSONB^ Fire damaged the flooring of a twostoreyed house of six rooms at 3 Swift Street, Ponsonbv, shortly before midnight yesterday. The flames spread from a fire under a copper in the wash-house, on the ground floor. It did not have a strong hold, and was easily extinguished by the brigade. The house is owned and occupied by Air. A. Alaberly. It is insured for £1.500 with the Alliance Company, and a policy for £SOO on the contents is held in the Norwich Union Office.
