EXHAUSTED FUGITIVE
BORSTAL ESCAPEE FOUND STARVING UNDER HAYSTACK Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Monday. Charles Newman, who escaped from the Borstal institution on Thursday last, was recaptured at 7 o’clock this evening. He was hiding under a haystack near Otautau. He w r as in an exhausted condition, and said that he had had practically no food since Sat urday night.
