“THE FAIR CO-ED” ‘•The Fair Co-Ed.” which will be shown at the Capitol Theatre to-night, tells of a girl who would not attend her college because the principal banned students’ cars and of a youth, star basketball player of the college team, who caused the girl to reverse her decision when she saw him. But another girl is interested in him, and that is how the fun. adventure and romance ieap into being at the colie Marion Davies is starred in this picture, and the leading man is a star athlete, new blood for the screen, and gives a great performance. Other favourite supporting players make the cast a strong one. “French Dressing.” starring 11. B. Warner and Lois Wilson, will also be be screened. Every gown and piece of jewellery worn by Dolores Del Kio in her characterisation of “Ramona” is a family heirloom. When Edwin Carewe advised the star she would be given the opportunity to picture the famous Helene Hunt Jackson character on the screen, she sent to her home in Mexico City asking for the old family dresses, belonging to her grandmother, ancient ; jewels that were part of her family I belongings, and precious pieces of silks ! and laces that were hundreds of years old. All of these dresses and jewels j are to be seen on the star when • Ramona” is screened. ]
