TO "WIN N.Z. FOR USEFUL PEOPLE” Press Association. W\ELLINGTON, Monday. | The immediate objective of the New Zealand Labour Party was defined by ! the president. Mr. R. Semple, in the course of his remarks at the opening- 1 of the Dominion conference this morn- i ing as “the winning of New Zealand 1 for the useful people, and the establishment of society, based upon social justice, conceding to every fit man and woman the right to work, and assuring ! every mother of the nation of a home j to shelter her offspring, and the fullest I and freest education." He added that the responsibility was upon them to banish from New Zea- j land the causes that produced in- J equality, unemployment, penury and I want.
