HAMILTON NOTES
Dr. and Mrs. T. Milroy were at ElIrslie on Saturday. Mrs. Edward Lauri (Miss May Beatty) lias been staying with her sister, Mrs. W. Ross, in Hamilton. They have gone to Rotorua for the Easter holidays. Miss May Ross has accompanied them. Mrs. C. Fowler is spending the Easter holidays in Auckland. She is the guest of Mrs. Henry. Mr. and Mrs. W. Tudhope came to Auckland for the Easter races. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Cox are in Auckland for the races at Ellerslie. Miss M. Wilkinson, Miss E. Hammand, and Miss W. Manning are at Mon Desir for the Easter holidays. Aliiss Wallnutt is spending the Easter holidays at Auckland. Miss N. Tizard, from Hamilton, is in Auckland for Easter. Mr. and Mrs. George Hyde are at the Star Hotel for the races. Miss Durenzi and Miss Drake have gone to the Thames coast for the holidays. Dr. and Mrs. Clough Blundell, from Te Awamutu,e were at the Ellerslie races on Saturday.
When boots and shoes come back after being re-soled, do not wear for three days or so. This will »-!■• the leather time to harden and thus double the life of the repaired footwear. A coat of varnish on the soles also makes for longer wear.
