Clears’s bay gelding Bright Dawn suffered a serious mishap which terminated fatally yesterday morning. He was being exercised at Kensington Park on the inner ploughed track, when he stumbled heavily and’ caught his

shoulder against some projection, which inflicted a terrible wound. He had to be destroyed. The rider at the time of the accident was thrown, but escaped with a dislocated shoulder, and was removed to his own home and medically attended.
