The Hikurangi Bowling Club’s Easter tournament commenced on Saturday when five rounds were played off on the Whangarei and Hikurangi greens. Following are the results: SECTION A First Round. —Lomas beat Phillips, 21— 19; Kells beat Campbell, 25—24: Coburn beat J. Graham, 19—15; Pearce beat Lippiatt, 25—12. Second Round.—Campbell beat Lomas. 36—5; Kells beat Phillips, 20—17; Coburn beat Lippiatt, 21—20; Pearce beat Russell, 26—19. *Third Round.—Lippiatt defeated Graham, 26—12; Coburn defeated Campbell. 26—12; Pearce defeated Campbell, 30—9; Pearce defeated Phillips, 23—9; Kells defeated Lomas, 22—16. Fourth Round.—Kells defeated Coburn, 22 17; Phillips defeated Graham. 22—9; Lomas defeated Pearce, 18—13; Lippiatt defeated Campbell, 22—16. Fifth Round. —Phillips beat Campbell, 24 —16: Coburn beat Pearce, 28 —22: Lomas beat Lippiatt, 24—16; Kells and Graham are 15—10 on the 17th head.
