NEWMARKET WINS MYERS GUP CITY cricket teams had a good run of successes in matches played at Auckland during the holidays. Both the Newmarket Workshops and the Auckland Training Colleges .secured innings victories over their Wellington rivals. An Auckland eleven had the better of a keenly and wellcontested game against North Auckland, one of whose batsmen, Kemp, an ex-Ponsonby player, scored a century.
