Splendid fields have been attracted by the stake money on offer, and with good North Island horses meeting the pick of the Southerners the fixture will be one of the principal holiday gatherings. Sockburn Handicap.—OßATßlX and LADY DESMOND. Courtnay Handicap.—POLYDECTES and SILVER COOT. SECOND DAY Great Autumn Handicap.—RAPlEß and HYNANNA. Challenge Stakes. RE REMOAN A and CIMABUE.

Quinlivan went South with Tresham, who is to contest the Great Easter and Great Autumn Handicaps. Tresham will be ridden by J. S. Potter. J. Barry will be on O. Cox’s team.
