The Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skerrett, is visiting Auckland. Dr. A. Izard, of Wellington, is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. R. McCallum, ex-M.P. for Wairau, arrived in Auckland this morning. Mr. Alf. Hayden, the well-known Otahuhu picture-theiatre manager, is at present an inmate of the Auckland Hospital. The Hon. K. S. Williams, Minister of Public Works, who has been making an extensive tour of the North Island, arrived from Paeroa on Thursday evening.
