POLICE RECRUITS CHOSE! TWENTY FROM AUCKLAND A selection of nearly 20 men fcr service in the military police fora at Samoa has been made by the Soper intendent of Police at Auckland, lit \V. G. Wohlmann. About 200 men applied for the joti advertised, and the chosen 20 are 8 be placed in charge of a defence o& cer at Auckland for the prelimiaay training, later travelling to Welliip ton to join recruits from other cemm in a finishing course at Trenthan From the accumulated applicam ■will be chosen those "who are to pc to the islands. The final selection will have to b made shortly, as applicants were warned that they must be prepared t» sail on April 11.
