BOOKINGS BY AORANGI INCREASE OF TEN PER CENT. EXPECTED Jt is reported that there is a lik - lihood of an increase of 10 per cer;. being made in passenger fares b« - tween Canada and New Zealand. Mr. D. Carter, manager of the Auckland office of the Union Steam Ship Company, stated this morning that tne report had foundation, and that passengers booking for the Aorangi’a June i sailing were being asked to pay additional passage money. The increais stated to amount to 10 per cent.
