TAILORS’ STRIKE THREAT
LEEDS UNION DISSATISFIED 200,000 MAY BE INVOLVED By Cable. —Press Association.—Coy if Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday. The Leeds Tailors’ and Garmentworkers’ Union has threatened a strike involving 200,000 workers, because of dissatisfaction about certain clauses in the agreements with the Employers’ Federation. The union decided to give notice of a termination of wages amd hours agreements which have been in force for eight years.—A. and N.Z.
