BOWLING AT HAMILTON
PAIRS TOURNAMENT FIRST DAY’S PLAY (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. The Easter pairs tourney of the Hamilton Bowling Club began this morning. Weather conditions, although showery in the morning, proved ideal during the afternoon and good progress was made. Thirty-three pairs are taking part in the tourney and the majority of these are from clubs in the Hamilton group. Results are: Section A. —First Round: Jenkins and Neas, 18 v. Wilkes and Hall, 15; Coltman and Platt, 15 v. Reynolds and Hughes, 14; Salter and I>illicar, 28 v. Andrews and Webster, 16; Irvine and NVoodliall, a bye. Second Round: Wilkes and Hall, 33 v. Speight and Speight, 13: Reynolds and Hughes, 25 v. Andrews and Webster, 22; Hawkins and Gee, 27 v. Jenkins and Neas, • 20; Salter and Dillicar, a bye.
