PRINCE EDWARD

TUG-OF-WAR FINAL The final of the tug-of-war contest at the Prince Edward will be held this evening, the competing teams being Southdown versus Fire Brigade.

In “Adam and Evil,” which will be the chief pictorial attraction, Gwen Lee has the role of a blonde, nourishing five years of grief and plans for revenge on the man who promised her a fur coat—and went to Brazil without getting it for her. Naturally, when she sees the

man’s twin brother in the lobby of a fashionable hotel, where fur coats are on display, her mind turns toward winter fashions. In trying to get the coat, which she believes she has rightfully coming to her, Gwen finds herself up against a series of circumstances which would baffle many a diplomat.
