Rumours of Upjohn’s deportation by the Niagara are without foundation, but the authorities at Washington are considering the question of his deportation. It is alleged that Upjohn, while on the Aorangi. represented himself to be Mr. Stephen McKenna, the British novelist.—A. and N.Z.
